The draw of the championship, which will be held jointly by Germany, Czechia, Georgia and Italy on September 1-18, 2022, will be held at the Verti Music Hall in Berlin, the capital city of Germany, at 14.00.
In the draw to be broadcast live on FIBA’s digital channels, 24 teams that qualify for the tournament will be placed in four groups of six. The 16 teams that complete the group stage in the top four will be cross matched.
Turkey is in the 3rd bag with Poland, Croatia and Slovenia in the bag system determined according to FIBA’s European ranking. The national team will play the group matches in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
