A National Women’s Basketball Team decided not to participate in the preparatory tournament to be held in this country on June 4-6, upon the decisions taken by the French government within the scope of the fight against quarantine.
In the statement made on the website of the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF), “Our National Women’s Basketball Team will not participate in the tournament, as the French government does not guarantee exemption from the 10-day quarantine required for the citizens of countries outside the European Union, determined as part of the fight against quarantine. “Our national team will participate in the special tournament to be held in Spain on 10-11 June in accordance with the European Championship preparation planning.” it was said.
