(ABSTRACT) Anadolu Efes – Real Madrid match result: 88-83

Anadolu Efes defeated Real Madrid 88-83 in Istanbul in the 5th match of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague quarterfinals and finished the series 3-2 and made its name to the Final Four. In the match where Shane Larkin played especially in the first 3 periods absences, Chris Singleton made his mark with his great performance from the beginning to the end of the match.

Defeating Real Madrid 88-83 in the 5th match of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague quarter-finals, Anadolu Efes got ahead 3-2 in the series and got its name in the Final Four.

After this minute, the Spanish team found successive hits with Thompkins on the offense, reduced the difference to 4 and made Ergin Ataman take the time out: 57-53. The remaining part was passed with mutual numbers and Anadolu Efes was ahead 60-57 in the last period.

Real Madrid, which started more effective in the last period, took the lead after a long time with a three-point basket from Rudy Fernandez with 6:25 remaining: 68-69. After this minute, Anadolu Efes was effective with Pleiss, while Real Madrid scored points from Laprovittola and entered with 75-75 equality in the last 3 minutes. After this minute, both teams scored mutual points, while Anadolu Efes broke the balance with a 3-point basket from Simon 38 seconds before the end and took the lead: 83-80. Preserving its superiority after this minute, Anadolu Efes won the fight 88-83 and got its name written in the Final Four.
