Anadolu Efes General Manager Alper Yılmaz won the best manager award of last year in Euroleague.
Anadolu Efes, which completed the last season as champion in Turkish Airlines Euroleague, received another award. Alper Yılmaz, the general manager of the navy-blue team, was selected as the “Manager of the Year” as a result of the voting made by the managers of the teams competing in the Euroleague. Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman also won the “Coach of the Year” award as a result of the previous voting.
While the Euroleague manager of the year award is given to the person and club that best exemplifies EuroLeague’s commitment to excellence in all aspects of club management in the previous season, the categories evaluated before voting include sporting values, fan experience, marketing and communication.
