Krunoslav Simon, who was sweating in the THY EuroLeague and ING Basketball Super League champions Anadolu Efes wearing the number 44 jersey, was adopted by the people of Malatya as his fellow countrymen. The agenda item for granting honorary citizenship to the 35-year-old actor, who was previously invited to Malatya by the Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selahattin Gürkan, was discussed and accepted at the June meeting of the Metropolitan Municipality Council yesterday.
The experienced player of the dark blue-white team came to Malatya by plane from Istanbul at noon for the honorary citizenship certificate ceremony. Simon had his photo taken in front of the sign at the city entrance.
