Antalya Youth and Sports Club, which will move from Düzce to Antalya and continue its struggle in TBL and TKBL, will do its training and matches this season at the Cosmos Sports Center within the Nirvana Cosmopolitan Hotel.
Nirvana Cosmopolitan Hotel, a member of Kilit Hospitality Group, which is successfully involved in Mediterranean tourism, will be at the service of sports tourism with its brand new face, 579 new rooms, multi-purpose sports halls, grass football fields, tennis courts, fitness centers, renovated SPA center, jogging tracks, starting from 2021.
With the cooperation agreement signed by Antalya GSK President Kadir Dağ, Nirvana Hotels CEO Korhan Alşan and Nirvana Hotels Sporting Director Burçin Badem, both men’s and women’s basketball teams will train at Cosmos Sports Center. In addition, the ongoing Cosmos Sports Center Sports School will create an infrastructure with the Basketball students and Antalya GSK infrastructure and will participate in the Antalya Local Leagues.
Antalya GSK President Kadir Dağ said, “When we moved our teams to Antalya, I was a little worried about the facility. I learned that a large facility was built within Nirvana Cosmopolitan. But I could not imagine that there would be such a facility. We visited Burçin Ağabey on site and toured the facilities with our captain Yunus Çankaya. An incredible quality facility in a magnificent hotel. Every detail, including 5 separate match fields, center of gravity, functional conditioning section, player and coach locker rooms, first aid, physical therapy, doping sample room, has been thought out to the smallest detail.
As a former basketball player, I was very excited to be in such a facility. Our players will both work in a wonderful facility and experience the belonging of a real sports club in excellent social facilities. That’s why we tried to make every kind of sacrifice. Mr. Tuncay Kilit, Korhan Alşan and Burçin Badem were also very close and warm to us. I believe that we have signed a very potential cooperation.
