Ansu Fati’s main objective is to stay at Barcelona. Although there are many teams that have been interested in him, his priority is to continue at the Camp Nou. Although in other cases of the squad, the players have had to reduce their salary, Ansu’s case is different. He had a very low contract and since he was signed his projection has been enormous. Before his injury he had established himself as a starter at Barcelona and had debuted with the Spanish team. Therefore, in his new contract Ansu will have to increase his earnings. Barcelona had a unilateral option to renew the player for two years, but it was an option that he could not execute because the forward was a minor when he signed it. For this reason, Jorge Mendes understood that the contract ends on June 30 and next January he was free to negotiate with any club.
