Çukurova Basket added Crvedakic to their squad

Çukurova Basketball Mersin Yenişehir Bld., which set its goal as the Euroleague championship and succeeded in winning the President’s Cup, and continuing its leadership in the ING Women’s Super League, added another star to its staff.

Aleksanda Crvedakic, considered one of the most important names of the Serbian National Team, joined the colors of the Mersin club. The 1.88-meter striker, the former student of Roberto Iniguez, who took over the team in the middle of the season, was highly requested by the Spanish coach, and the management made this transfer and made the official announcement.

Aleksandra Crvedakic won bronze medals at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and 2019 European Championships with her Serbian National Team uniform, and climbed to the top of the podium at the 2021 European Championships. Çukurova, who has star names such as Gray, Bonner and Hayes in her squad, increased her strength a little more with this move and proved her determination in her goal of Euroleague Championship, where she was shown as one of the most important candidates.

On the other hand, this transfer had a great impact in the Spanish Avenida club, which lost first coach Iniguez and then Aleksandra Crvedakic, the most important part of it, to Çukurova Basketball, and brought Çukurova Basket to their agenda.
