Çukurova Basketball Club (ÇBK) Yenişehir Municipality in Mersin started the preparations for the AZS UMCS Lublin match to be played in Poland in the 5th week of the Women’s European Cup (EuroCup Women).
The orange-dark blue team held a meeting before the training under the supervision of Head Coach Olcay Orak, then went out to the park and studied the tactics planned to be implemented in the Lublin match. The ambitious and willingness of the players pleased the technical team.
Stating that they will play 3 important matches in 10 days, Head Coach Olcay Orak said, “We have an important series of 3 matches ahead of us. We will play the first match against Lublin in Poland. On the way back, we will face Antalya away and play again with Gorzow in Poland. It is an important week for us, it is important. “We have beaten Lublin here before. They made a transfer. They took one of the shooters of the Belgian national team. We are in good health and play right now. I believe we will win the game without conceding easy points by playing hard as we did in the first game,” he said.
