Lithuanian tall Donatas Motiejunas has returned to Europe. Motiejunas, who signed a contract with Monaco, returned to the EuroLeague after a 9-year hiatus.
9 years ago, Motiejunas broke the organization’s record for most rebounds in a game in the last EuroLeague season. In December 2011, the Polish team had 18 rebounds in a game for Asseco Prokom Gdynia. He finished the regular season averaging 7.9 rebounds.
Motiejunas, who played for Hoston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs in the NBA, spent most of the last 4 seasons in China.
