Ergin Ataman: We almost committed suicide in the last period!

Anadolu Efes lost 75-73 to France’s representative LDLC ASVEL in the 3rd week match of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and got their third consecutive defeat. Making statements at the press conference held after the match, Anadolu Efes coach Ergin Ataman said, “We almost committed suicide in the last period,” and added:

‘Evaluation is not easy’

“It is not easy to evaluate after such a defeat. We almost committed suicide in the last period, we played like small teams and made such mistakes. Congratulations to the LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne team. They put a lot of effort, especially in the last quarter, and changed the game.”
