Farewell to Yusuf Güven from Karşıyaka

Yusuf Güven, one of the former managers of the club and the Basketball Federation, who died in Istanbul, where he was treated for pancreatic cancer on Sunday, June 12, in Karşıyaka, was bid farewell to his last journey with a ceremony.

The funeral prayer of Güven, who served as a manager in the green-red people for many years and took part in the asset board in the last administration, was held in Istanbul Teşvikiye Mosque yesterday. A ceremony was held by the green-red club today for the trust.

Karşıyaka Mayor Cemil Tugay, İzmir Chamber of Commerce President Mahmut Özgener, Karşıyaka Council Chairman Atakan Karakaplan, Karşıyaka President Turgay Büyükkarcı, 1912 Karşıyaka Association President Cem Karagözlü, new and old managers, Pınar Karşıyaka Trainer Ufuk Sarıca, fans. and his family attended. Yusuf Güven was buried in the Soğukkuyu Cemetery after the ceremony.
