Fenerbahçe Beko faced the Serbian representative Red Star in the first match of the 2021-2022 season in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. Defeating his opponent 61-57, Fenerbahçe Beko started with a victory in the EuroLeague after the league.

Fenerbahce Beko, who made an effective entry into the match with a 14-point streak, did not give his opponent a chance to score in the first five minutes. Even though Red Star closed the gap in the remaining five minutes, they were ahead 18-15 in the first quarter. Both teams struggled to score in the second quarter.
