Galatasaray Club announced that a new 1-year contract was signed with the Latvian striker Anete Steinberga of the women’s basketball team.

Our club signed a new one-year contract with Latvian tall forward Anete Steinberga.
Joining our Galatasaray Women’s Basketball Team at the beginning of the previous season, Anete Steinberga played in 43 matches, 35 of which were leagues and 8 of them Euroleague, in the 2020-2021 season. Steinberga finished the season with averages of 13.49 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.66 assists and 1.43 steals in the league. In Euroleague Women, on the other hand, he played in 8 games with averages of 13.4 points and 9.3 rebounds. Our player, who is highly acclaimed with his warrior and never-giving character on the field, will wear the yellow and red jersey for another season.
