The undefeated Arizona Cardinals have never started an NFL season 8-0 in franchise history.

Murray has two more wins so far, averaging more passes per game (286.0), and a higher passing percentage (73.5) and passing rating this season than Rogers in the first seven games of his 2020 campaign.

Not that the Cardinals are in any way intimidated by the opposition they will face, given that they have beaten playoff rivals in the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and most importantly Los Angeles for seven consecutive victories at the start of the season. Angeles Rams (their only defeat) from their own division. And they deftly beat them all – by 25, 23 and 17 points, respectively.

The Cardinals are ranked first in the league’s defensive performance rankings with just 16.3 points per game. Meanwhile, in attack, Murray has an amazing array of offensive weapons at his disposal; there’s DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, A.J. Green and Rondale Moore in the waiting room, Chase Edmonds and James Conner’s highly effective off-the-field double act, and the recently acquired Zach Ertz at a standstill.

Sticking with its collection of extensions, Arizona is the only team in the NFL with four receivers posting over 300 yards in the first eight weeks of the season, while they have 15 touchdown tackles among themselves.

On the other hand, the packers will unfortunately be left without Rogers’ target in Davant Adams, who tested positive for Covid-19 this week, and also without the vaccinated Allen Lazard, who was considered close contact.

Arizona, however, has weakened defensively with the loss of subversive, veteran defense veteran JJ Watt, who is likely to lose this season as he needs surgery for a shoulder injury compounded by their last win over the Houston Texans.

However, Thursday night’s duel between these two NFC giants is still classic. And Good morning football Host Peter Schrager called on Murray and the Cardinals to hit the prime time mark.

“This is the best Thursday night game we have ever had, maybe ever,” Schrager said Thursday. “I think this is the party in Arizona that will be known as the Kyler Murray game.
