In men’s basketball, Australia beat Slovenia 107-93 to win the bronze medal

Australia won the bronze medal in men’s basketball on the 15th day of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Australia and Slovenia faced off in the bronze medal match at the Saitama Arena.

Finishing the first quarter ahead 20-19, Australia went ahead 53-45 in the locker room. Opening the second half, Australia won the third quarter 78-67, and won the match 107-93.

Australia won the bronze medal match for the fifth time in its history, winning its first Olympic medal in men’s basketball.

Slovenia, on the other hand, took the best time in its history and became the 4th in the Olympics.

The top scorer of the match was Australia’s NBA star Patty Mills. Mills brought the bronze medal to his country with 42 points and 9 assists.

In Slovenia, star player Luka Doncic’s performance of 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists was not enough to win.
