ANDOn December 3, a symbolic act of union was held between the Sevilla Fútbol Club and Real Betis Balompié in favor of the third challenge of the El Gancho Infantil Foundation ‘Your Blue House’. A journey in which Jules Koundé, from Sevilla, and Víctor Camarasa, from Betis, visited the land where the future Ronald McDonald House in Seville will be built where families with seriously ill children come to the capital for medical treatment. There, in addition to getting to know the terrain, they handed out a soccer ball and a signed shirt for each team to help the El Gancho Infantil Foundation raise funds through a solidarity raffle.
Both players showed great interest in the project, although Jules Koundé established from that moment on a close relationship with the Foundation. All these months, the Sevilla player has been attentive to every progress and to every solidarity initiative in favor of the Tu Casa Azul challenge and has collaborated with its dissemination. He was especially involved with the solidarity action of a group of young people who came together to get funding to sponsor one of the rooms in the Ronald McDonald House to be built by the Ronald McDonald Children’s Foundation. That same night he already informed the El Gancho Infantil Foundation that His commitment would not only be to publicize the challenge, but to donate 1,000 euros for each match won by Sevilla in LaLiga. He only asked for one thing, that it be an anonymous donation.
The season ended and Koundé kept his promise, he contacted those responsible for the Foundation and informed them that his team had had 24 victories, so his donation would be of 24,000 euros. The Foundation is proud to have a sponsor who stands out for his extraordinary humility and sense of the social, despite his youth and successful career.
