Turkish Basketball Federation and misli.com have signed a very valuable cooperation on behalf of Turkish basketball. A cooperation agreement was signed between TBF and misli.com for the main sponsorship of the ING Basketball Super League and Herbalife Nutrition Women’s Basketball Super League for two seasons, and the title sponsorship of the Turkish Basketball League. After the press conference where the details were shared, Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Türkoğlu made statements about the upcoming Turkish Basketball Federation’s ordinary general assembly.
In a statement to the press, Hidayet Türkoğlu said, “I have explained this before, I want to explain it again. As I said before, I am repeating my candidacy for president. Our aim is to be a process where every candidate will express himself and talk about his projects. We also hear bad things from time to time. We share with everyone what we have done in concrete terms in 5 years. We think that we add great value with our sponsor incomes and what we do for Turkish athletes. They may criticize us, but it is really sad that they see the last 5 years as a failure. We have to respond inevitably. We also wonder what our critics are doing. “We will continue to do so. Our communication with the clubs is really good. We want the next 3 years to continue like this, and I repeat my candidacy for president from here.”
Harun Erdenay and Erman Kunter had previously announced their candidacy for the elections in which the current president, Hidayet Türkoğlu, is also a candidate again.
