Argentine star basketball player Luis Scola ended his professional career at the age of 41.
Argentine Basketball Confederation, in a written statement on social media, said, “Today Argentine basketball has said goodbye to a legend. 22 years of national team career with 22 tournaments, 173 games and 2857 points. A tremendous career that makes us better and cheers us up. Good luck on your new path.” used the phrases.
Scola, who has played in the Argentina Basketball National Team since 1999, won the Olympic gold medal in 2004 with the national team.
Scola, who also had an NBA career, played for the Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets.
Scola will continue his basketball career as the CEO of Italian team Varese.
