Madrid CFF – Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid – Levante, semifinals of the Queen’s Cup
The RFEF has requested the Community of Madrid the presence of the public in Butarque
Madrid CFF-Barcelona on Wednesday May 26 and Atlético de Madrid-Levante on Thursday 27 will be the semifinals of the Queen’s Cup, whose final phase will be played in ehe Butarque de Leganés stadium (Madrid) with the final on Sunday, May 30.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) held this Wednesday the draw for the pairings of the final phase, in which the Mexican player of Atlético de Madrid Charlyn Corral, out due to injury, and that of Madrid CFF Itziar Pinillos participated to extract the balls.
Fútbol Club Barcelona, recent League champion and finalist in the Champions League on Sunday 16 against English Chelsea, will continue to defend the title in the second semifinal, after having eliminated Sevilla in the quarterfinals (1-4 ), against Madrid CFF, which got rid of Real Madrid (2-1).
Atlético de Madrid beat Real Sociedad (0-1) in the quarterfinals and Levante beat Granadilla Tenerife (2-1).
The RFEF asks the public to the Community of Madrid
For its part, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has made a request to the Community of Madrid so that the public can attend the final phase of the Queen’s Cup.
During the draw for the semifinals held this Wednesday, the vice president of the RFEF and head of the National Women’s Football Committee, Rafael Del Amo, announced that the organization has addressed the community in this regard and is awaiting your response.
“I think you can think of there being a public. There has been a request from the Federation to the community. I think we could put up to 50% with all the protocols,” he said at the beginning of the draw.
