Los Angeles Lakers star player LeBron James will be the captain of the Western Conference team in the 71st NBA All-Star, which will be held for the 71st time, according to the NBA’s official website. Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant will captain the Eastern Conference.
Western Conference: LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers), Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies), Andrew Wiggins (Golden State Warriors) and Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets).
Eastern Conference: Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets), DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls), Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks)
The substitute players determined by the head coaches of the teams in the NBA will be announced on February 3. Team captains will also choose players on February 10.
LeBron James was named All-Star for the 18th consecutive year, becoming the first player in NBA history to do so.
