NBA All-Star Game starters announced

The Western and Eastern Conference starting fives have been announced in the NBA All-Star. Los Angeles Lakers star player LeBron James will captain the Western Conference, and Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant will make the Eastern Conference captain.

Eastern Conference: Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets), DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls), Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks)

The substitute players determined by the head coaches of the teams in the NBA will be announced on February 3. Team captains will also choose players on February 10.

LeBron James was named All-Star for the 18th consecutive year, becoming the first player in NBA history to do so.
