Miami Heat, one of the NBA teams, recruited Turkish basketball player Ömer Faruk Yurseven. The 22-year-old basketball player, who grew up from Fenerbahçe’s infrastructure, will be the 4th Turkish basketball player after Cedi Osman, Furkan Korkmaz and Ersan Ilyasova, who are actively involved in the NBA.
Another Turk joined the American Basketball League NBA. Miami Heat recently signed a contract with Turkish basketball player Ömer Faruk Yurtseven, who wore the Oklahoma City Blue jersey of the NBA G League teams.
The 22-year-old basketball player, who grew up from Fenerbahçe’s infrastructure and sweated the yellow-blue jersey between 2013 and 2016, played 21.1 minutes in 14 games with Oklahoma this season, and performed 15.2 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.36 blocks.
