Galatasaray Nef Men’s Basketball Team was the guest of Greek club PAOK mateco in its 3rd match in FIBA Champions League Group E.
The first quarter of the match, played at PAOK Sports Hall in Thessaloniki, was passed with the 24-12 superiority of Galatasaray, but the home team reduced the lead to 3 points (33-36) in the second period.
Continuing its effective game, PAOK mateco took the lead 55-53 at the end of the 3rd quarter and won the field 81-74.
Griffin had 13 points, 5 assists, Jones 12 points and 11 rebounds for PAOK. Akoon-Purcell struggled with 21 points and 7 rebounds in Galatasaray, while Blackshear struggled with 18 points and 7 rebounds.
Galatasaray Nef suffered their first defeat in the group, while PAOK mateco got their first win.
