Up to 75 matches will be played from Wednesday 24th to 31st, including Spain’s first three on their way to next year’s World Cup.
TOAlthough the European Championship appears at the end of this season, the truth is that the next 2022 also awaits a World Cup, specifically in Qatar, which will carry over to November. Hence the current stoppage of national competitions in the old continent has the purpose of playing the first three days of the qualifying phase, from which the 13 teams that will be present at the event will come out.
Thus, eBetween Wednesday, March 24 and Wednesday, March 31, a total of 75 matches will be played corresponding to the 10 groups in which the 55 national teams taking part are divided. The champions of each group will directly seal their presence in Qatar, while the second classified will have another opportunity in the play-off, in which they will also be framed with two teams from the League of Nations. After two qualifiers, the three winners will complete the quota of European participants in the World Cup.
