Rayo Vallecano drew in its second preseason game, first of the stage in Marbella, before Al Shabab. Andoni Iraola’s team could not add their first victory against a Saudi team whose star was former Sevilla player Ever Banega. The two goals of the visitors were scored by another old acquaintance of the Spanish League: Ighalo. The doublet rayista was in charge of Andrés Martín.

The former Granada player scored his two goals in the first half, the first as soon as the clash started and the second on the brink of halftime, with a head, after a good counter. Already in the second half Andrés Martín cut distances and ended up drawing with a header on the horn. As a curiosity, in the absence of half an hour, changes of players who had already been withdrawn were allowed in order to give rest to players who had played everything.

Rayo Vallecano also drew last Sunday against Real Madrid in its pre-season premiere and will play next Saturday against Espanyol, also in Marbella.
