Spain’s Real Madrid club transferred French center Vincent Poirier, who is the rival of Anadolu Efes in the THY EuroLeague play-offs.
Real Madrid announced that it signed a contract with the 27-year-old Poirier, who was idle after leaving the New York Knicks from the NBA teams on March 28, and announced that it signed a contract with the French center until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
Poirier played for another Spanish team Baskonia in 2017-2019.
Pairing with Real Madrid in the THY EuroLeague play-offs, Anadolu Efes will play the first two of the 5-game series that will start on April 20 in Istanbul.
