Seattle Seahawks defender Darrell Taylor was rushed to a nearby hospital after suffering an apparent neck injury while trying to fight the Pittsburgh Steelers who are hitting Naji Harris at the end of the fourth quarter; NBC reported that Taylor had limb movements.

Chris Boswell scored a 37-yard field game and saw the Pittsburgh Steelers beat Seattle Seahawks without Russell Wilson 23-20 in overtime in Sunday Night Football.

Otherwise, Smith played well in his first start in the NFL since 2017, completing 23 of his 32 assists for 209 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Seahawks, running away from Alex Collins, dashed 20 times for 101 yards and scored.

However, Seattle’s offense progressed slowly and they lagged behind Pittsburgh 14-0 at half-time before returning to the game after half-time.

Jason Myers scored a 43-yard field goal when it was time to send the game into overtime with a 20-20 draw, although the Seahawks almost missed their chance to do so.

With 18 seconds left, Metcalfe caught Smith’s 12-yard pass, but instead of going out of bounds to stop the clock, he tried to get onto the field and fumbled for the ball. Luckily, his teammate Freddie Swain was on hand to recover, and Seattle managed to score in time to leave precious seconds for Myers to hit.

But after Smith’s failed OT attempt, the Steelers ultimately won a 3–3 win for the season, with the Seahawks back to 2–4.

More of a concern for Seattle, however, will be an injury on the defensive for Darrell Taylor, who was strapped to a gurney and kicked off the field after an apparent neck injury while trying to deal with the Steelers running back Naji Harris at the end of the fourth quarter.

Taylor was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Nbc reporting that he had movements in the limbs.
