Turkey defeated Portugal 70-58 in the fourth match of the Group C stage of the FIBA Under-20 Women’s European Challengers tournament held in Konya.
The crescent-star team faced Portugal in the fourth match of Group C at Konya Sports and Congress Center.
Leading the match from start to finish, Turkey was ahead 20-8 in the first quarter, ahead 39-22 in the halftime, and 54-46 in the third quarter, winning the match 70-58 and winning the tournament for the second time.
Gökşen Fitik in the national team became the top scorer of the match with 19 points.
Losing 76-62 to Russia in the first match, 74-54 to France in the second match and defeating Belarus 83-59 in the third match, the national team will play their last match against Poland tomorrow.
