The 12-man squad of the A National Women’s Basketball Team has been announced for the Slovenia and Poland matches, which will face in Group D of the FIBA 2023 European Championship Qualifiers.
Crescent-Stars will face Slovenia away in their first match of 2023 European Championship Qualifiers at 20:00 CET tomorrow. In the second match of the group, the Nationals will host Poland on Sunday, November 14, in Kocaeli. The national team will play against Poland at Kocaeli Martyr Police Recep Topaloğlu Sports Hall and will start at 17.00.
The Nationals are in Group D together with Slovenia, Poland and Albania in the 2023 European Championship Qualifiers.
FIBA 2023 Women’s European Championship qualifying matches will be played in three windows. The first window will be held between 11-14 November 2021, the second window will be held from 24-27 November 2022, and the third window will be held on 9-12 February 2023.
The FIBA 2023 Women’s European Championship will be hosted by Israel and Slovenia. In the tournament, it was announced that the group matches will be held in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Koper and Celje, Slovenia, while the qualifying round matches will be played in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, after the group matches.
