The 17-man roster of the A National Men’s Basketball Team for the Belarus and Great Britain matches in the FIBA 2023 World Cup Qualification Group B has been announced. Crescents and stars will gather in Istanbul on Monday, November 22.
A National Men’s Basketball Team will face Belarus in the away game on Thursday, November 25 at 19.30 in the 2023 World Cup Qualifications. In the second match of the group group, the Nationals will host Great Britain on Sunday, November 28 in Istanbul. Crescent-Stars will play against Great Britain at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall and will start at 19.00. According to the format announced by FIBA, the top three teams in their groups will advance to the next round. The teams will carry the points they collected in the first group stage to the next group. If the Nationals take the first three places in the group, they will be matched with the teams that completed the first three places in Group A. The 12 teams that take the top three places in their groups in the second round will qualify to compete in the FIBA 2023 World Cup.
