Police camera footage of NBA star Jaxson Hayes, who was detained in Los Angeles, USA on grounds of domestic violence and electrocuted with a shock gun for resisting by the police, was shared yesterday. In the footage of the event, which was publicly known as the ‘The George Floyd Case in the NBA’, it was seen that Hayes said “I can’t breathe” several times.
The Los Angeles Police Department, which opened an investigation after the lawyers of Jaxson Hayes (21) stated that the actor put his knee on the neck of the police while he was being detained, and that he was out of breath, shared the police camera footage of the incident yesterday. In the footage, it was determined that the famous New Orleans Pelicans player put his knee on the back of the policeman’s neck during detention and the player said “I can’t breathe” several times.
Los Angeles police stated that they went to Jaxson Hayes’ home after a report of domestic violence and they used stun guns because Hayes resisted detention. Police also stated that the investigation is ongoing and could take up to a year.
