Beşiktaş Icrypex player Alperen Şengün, who is the “Most Valuable Player of the Season” in the ING Basketball Super League, was given the award before the TOFAŞ match.
In the second match of the ING Basketball Super League Play-Off quarter-finals, it beat TOFAŞ 82-79 in the Beşiktaş Icrypex field, making it 2-0 in the series and reached the semi-finals. Black and White team will face against Anadolu Efes, the leader of the regular season, in the semi-finals.
The award was given to Alperen Şengün, the “Most Valuable Player of the Season” in the ING Basketball Super League, before the game. Turkish Basketball Federation Men’s Leagues Director Derya Yannier presented the award to the national basketball player wearing Beşiktaş Icrypex jersey.
Alperen Şengün finished the regular season with averages of 19.2 points and 9.3 rebounds, and ranked second in the league in both categories. Achieving 26.7 productivity points in the 2020-2021 season, 18-year-old Alperen was awarded the “Most Valuable Player of the Season” award, ranking at the top of this category. (AA)
