Lto Prosecutor’s office asks for four years in prison and a fine of 14,400 euros for Robert Cama, former head of the IT department of Mediapro, Y Joan Carles Raventós, company manager Bonus Sport Marketing (BSM), for spying on the emails of the audiovisual company administrator, Jaume roures.

In the text, the Prosecutor’s office accuses both investigated of a continuous crime of discovery of secrets for illegally accessing the emails of Roures and copy them to transfer them to the manager of BSM, whose company was dedicated as Mediapro to sports marketing.

Initially, Mediapro was also sued for espionage against the former president of the FC Barcelona Sandro Rosell -owner of BSM-, although the court that investigated the case agreed to file the case against him, in a decision that was later endorsed by the Audience of Barcelona.

According to the text, the computer scientist sent the copies of those emails to the other defendant, who was interested in the messages related to the business activity of Mediapro, for dedicating himself to the same sports marketing sector.

Basically, the intercepted messages were related to advertising work carried out by Mediapro for other companies, to television businesses, to company negotiations with financial entities, to litigation and aspects related to audiovisual rights contracts.
