The Disciplinary Board of the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) fined Turgay Büyükkarcı, the President of Karşıyaka Club.
In the statement on TBF’s website, it was stated that Turgay Büyükkarcı was fined 35 thousand lira for his statements against sportsmanship published on the social media account of the green-red club.
In the statement, it was stated that Pınar Karşıyaka Basketball Team Head Coach Ufuk Sarıca was fined 21,875 lira for attacking and insulting personal rights against the match official in the first match with Fenerbahçe in the ING Basketball Super League play-off semi-final series.
