Turkey became the only country to rise in the top 10 in the FIBA Women’s World Rankings.
The latest version of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Women’s World Rankings has been shared.
While many countries from Asia and Africa rose in the ranking due to their performance in the FIBA 2021 Women’s Continental Cups, Turkey rose to 9th place after a good start to the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2023 Qualifiers.
The only country in the top 10 to rise in the rankings, Turkey has amassed enough points with big wins against Slovenia and Poland to push them above Serbia, which played just one game in the November window.
