Men’s National Under-18 Team defeated Great Britain 82-38 by 44 points in the last 16 round of the FIBA Men’s Under-18 European Championship and advanced to the quarter-finals.
In the FIBA U18 European Basketball Championship hosted by İzmir, Turkey, which finished second in Group B with 2 wins and 1 loss, faced Great Britain, which ranked third in Group A with 1 win and 2 losses, in the last 16 rounds.
In the fight played at Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Karşıyaka Sports Hall, followed by the Members of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Basketball Federation and the TBF executives, the Crescent and Stars, who beat their opponent with a 44-point margin and left the park with an 82-38 victory, advanced to the quarter-finals.
Samet Yiğitoğlu scored 17 points, Karahan Efeoğlu, Eray Büyükcangaz and Özgür Cengiz each scored 10 points in the National Team. For Great Britain, Latrell Davis had 14 points.
