In the Basketball FIBA ​​Under-18 Men’s European Challenger Tournament, Turkey lost 78-59 to Russia in its last match in Group C. The Under-18 National Team finished fifth in the six-team group. The crescent-star team got 2 wins and 3 losses in total.

Competing in the FIBA ​​Under-18 Men’s European Challenger Group C hosted by Konya, our Crescent-Stars were defeated by Russia with a score of 78-59 in their fifth and last match. Our Under-18 Men’s National Team finished the group with two wins and three losses, and Russia got its second victory.

The match played at Konya Sports and Congress Center was followed by Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) Board Member Alper Arıkoğlu and TBF officials.

Our nationals started the struggle with Haktan Yavaş, Yiğit Hamza Mestoğlu, Karahan Tuan Efeoğlu, Samet Yiğitoğlu and Ege Tan Yıldızoğlu. Our Crescent-Stars finished the first half of the match behind 34-30.

Karahan Tuan Efeoğlu and Tan Yıldızoğlu scored 13 points each, and Haktan Yavaş scored 12 points in our Under-18 Men’s National Team. For Russia, Oleg Akramov scored 22 points.
