Yukatel Merkezefendi Municipality Basket President Veli Deveciler said that they are happy to stay in the ING Basketball Super League.
Veli Deveciler, the president of Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi Basket, which was relegated in its first season in the ING Basketball Super League, evaluated the last season. Stating that they added color to the league despite their first fight, President Deveciler said, “We gave our best effort. I think we represent Denizli very well. I would like to thank everyone who supported us on this path. We will be much better in the coming years.”
Deveciler noted that they fought very well against all kinds of difficulties in his evaluation of the season, and said, “I would like to thank the Yukatel family, especially our Merkezefendi Mayor Şeniz Doğan, our sponsors, our technical committee, our athletes and the people of Denizli. With their support, we overcame the difficulties in our first season. ‘ he said.

Stating that the ING Basketball Super League is the toughest league in Europe, President Deveciler said, “We have a very tough and high quality league. This is an indisputable fact. Anadolu Efes reached the Final Four in the Euroleague, and Frutti Extra Bursaspor reached the finals in the EuroCup. came out, Bahçeşehir College became the European Champion in the FIBA Europe Cup. Top-level teams such as Fenerbahçe Beko, Galataaray NEF, Darüşşafaka are in our league. Admittedly, we achieved great success in our first year. In the coming years, we achieved much more with a good structuring. I sincerely believe that we will come to good places and represent our city in Europe.”
