The Tampa Bay Pirates won their title by beating the Dallas Cowboys 31-29 in a thrilling shootout at Raymond James Stadium, opening the 2021 NFL season.
But the bucks might not have counted on the Cowboys this is good and pushes them so close. Duck Prescott, returning to the NFL after almost a year away from a gruesome ankle injury, has thrown 403 yards and shot three times. The defense also played a role, forcing four assists.
In swing competition, Greg Zuerlein scored a 48-yard field goal to give Dallas an 89-second lead, but that was too much for Brady as the seven-time Super Bowl winner led his team across the pitch to set up Ryan Saccop’s winning shot in the final seconds. …

It’s hard to choose just one, with none Brady nor Prescott deserving of the finish line on the losing side after the performances they had under the center.
Gronkowski was generally a constant threat to the red zone, while Antonio BrownThe relationship with Brady continues to grow.
Chris Godwin had to cost dearly to finish one fourth quarter and failed to finish another – Damontae Kazi showed great rush to get the ball to the goal line, and Jordan Lewis grabbed it – but he grabbed the grip on a winning game as his 24-yard hold on the left sideline moved the Bucs to a field goal position.
As impressively as they play, this is a case of what could have been for the Cowboys. Achieving 29 points away against this ferocious Bucs defense, in which Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs scored just nine points in the Super Bowl LV, is no small feat, but they left more on the field.
Of the four defensive revs, Dallas scored just 12 points – two from a field goal and one touchdown in the second quarter, in which Zurlein, who had a shaky night out, was unable to score an extra point. Zuerlein also missed, making a 60-yard play attempt shortly before halftime.
