The management in Semt77 Yalovaspor, which rose to the ING Basketball Super League by establishing a 3-1 advantage over Samsunspor in the play-off final series of the Turkish Basketball 1st League, aims to create a team that will achieve surprising results.

Club president Orbay Tuna, in a statement to the AA correspondent, said that they want to adapt quickly to the Super League, where they will compete for the first time in the 2021-2022 season.

Stating that their primary goal will be to finish the league in the middle ranks, Tuna said, “The risk and responsibility we take will be in this direction. We will both digest the Super League as a team and intimidate the audience. We will get used to the league first, then we will always play to surprise results. We are assertive in this regard.” he said.

Tuna stated that they will need financial support for 2-3 years until they develop the infrastructure and reduce their expenses in order to hold on to the league.

Stating that they started transfer negotiations, Tuna said:

“I believe that our teacher Hakan Yavuz will build the right team. Maybe we can transfer from Anadolu Efes. We will have transfers that will keep Yalova assertive. We will make satisfactory transfers in terms of transfers. Everyone should be sure of this. We will finish the first 3 transfers soon and be in the Super League. “We want to create this atmosphere; yes, Yalovaspor is doing something. Also in the new season, the matches will be played with spectators. We will start working on our combined sales from next week.”
