After five days off, Celta de Coudet returned to work this Monday afternoon. Before the Christmas holidays, a Covid outbreak was registered on the staff that produced a total of four positives. Hours later, the fifth infected player was confirmed, and from the club the alarm and concern were maintained that the cases would continue to increase during the holidays.
And so it has been. This Monday, the team returned to work under minimums, as in the antigen tests carried out, four more positives were registered, which are added to the five detected last week. A total of nine infected footballers, who are low along with the three players registered in medical part due to injury, and who leave the team in the box for the preparation of the league clash that they must face this Sunday before the Betis at Benito Villamarín.
The club has not yet made any official communication in this regard, it mays will wait for the morning session of this Tuesday to know the conclusive result of the PCR tests carried out today, and thus confirm the positives detected by the antigen tests.
