Achievements in European Cups
Anadolu Efes enjoyed the championship twice in its 42-year European cup adventure. The navy blue-white team sufficed with 2nd place in European cups. Anadolu Efes took part in the Final Four four times and came third twice.
The Turkish representative took the European Radivoj Korac Cup to his museum in the 1995-1996 season. Anadolu Efes, which became the first Turkish team to win a trophy in Europe in team sports, won the championship with an average of points, despite losing 77-70 in the second leg to Italy’s Stefanel Milano, which they defeated 76-68 in Istanbul in the first match of the final.
Anadolu Efes lifted the championship trophy in the THY Europa League last season. Anadolu Efes also played in the Final Four in Suprolig in the 2000-2001 season. Losing 74-66 to Panathinakos on the first day of the organization in Paris, the capital of France, the navy blue-whites then beat Russia’s CSKA Moscow team 91-85 and won the third place once again.
