Anadolu Efes star Will Clyburn: ‘I go on the field and do my job’

In the 15th week of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, our representative Anadolu Efes beat Panathinaikos 88-69 at home and reached its 8th victory. Star player Will Clyburn, who closed the game with 23 points and 10 rebounds, made special statements after the match.

“We had to pick things up because we took a step back with two losses last week. With the Panathinaikos win, things got back on track and we will strive to get even better.”

Will Clyburn, who is included in the game from the side, does not care how many minutes he steps on the floor as long as he is on the field: “When I played in CSKA, I was often included in the game from the side. It doesn’t matter to me to start the match or to be involved later. I just want to play.”

“I’m just playing my own game. There may be times when I play well or badly, but I play basketball from different angles and my goal is to win. This is the most important thing for me. I try to give my best when I enter the field and use my skills for team victory.”

The star player also touched on the adaptation process to Anadolu Efes: “It was not difficult for me to adapt. Because I played in the same team with Nando De Colo, Cory Higgins, Sergio Rodriguez before and we were successful. I also had no problem playing with Vasilije Micic and Shane Larkin because I can play in different positions.”
