Beşiktaş Emlakjet’s new head coach has been announced

The new head coach of the Black and Whites has been announced. Beşiktaş signed with Croatian-Polish coach Igor Miličić. Miličić also coaches the Polish National Team. Who is Igor Milicic?

Born on June 9, 1976, Igor Miličić started his coaching career in Poland’s AZS Koszalin team in the 2013-2014 season. Miličić, who took on the task of assistant coach here, was promoted to Head Coach in March of the same season. He started to work as the Head Coach of the Anwil Wloclawek team, where he will win championships in the 2015-2016 season. Igor Miličić, who won the Polish League championships with Wloclawek in 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2020-2021, was named the best coach of the year in Poland 3 times during these years. He won the Polish Cup in 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, and the Polish Super Cup in the 2017-2018 and 2019-2020 seasons. Igor Miličić, who started to work in the Polish team Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski in the 2020-2021 season, played the FIBA ​​Europe Cup Final for his team in the 2020-2021 season, and Milicic was once again named the coach of the year in Poland.
