Lhe almost twenty thousand positives announced by the Andalusian Regional Government’s Ministry of Health and Families this Monday has fully hit the Cadiz CF returning to training in the morning. The club announced last afternoon that five players had tested positive for coronavirus in medical tests.
Cádiz CF reported that “five positive cases of first team players have been detected by COVID-19. All are isolated, complying with the health protocol, and pending new tests that will be repeated within 48 hours to know their evolution” .
The cadista team faces Sevilla FC on January 3 and has activated the usual protocol in these cases with the controls and measures established, not giving the names and preserving the right to privacy of those affected as it has done throughout the entire pandemic.
The new variant is causing havoc throughout the country and also in Andalusia, which has announced a meeting of the committee of experts that advises the Andalusian Government, on January 4, in which new restrictive measures will be announced to counteract the increase in infections. On Monday 3, match day and Andalusian derby, the meeting of the provincial committees will take place.
