Corner Troy Hill, defender John Johnson III, defensive tackle Malik McDowell, defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo were also added to the Covid-19 roster, along with training team defender Nate Meadors and eight players listed on Tuesday.

Head coach Kevin Stefansky and defender Baker Mayfield are among seven other Cleveland Browns members who have tested positive for Covid-19.

Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network also said Wednesday that more positive tests are expected from the Browns, despite the franchise moving to improved Covid-19 protocols.

The Browns confirmed that Stefanski was working away from the team’s training center, while Pelissero was the first to report a positive Mayfield test.

Keyes Kinum will likely replace Mayfield if he fails to start the match against Las Vegas with Nick Mullens as his backup.

Anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 and has full vaccination status can be allowed to play until the weekend if they return a couple of negative tests.

Browns’ statement read: “This morning [Wednesday] the round of testing produced additional positive Covid-19 results.

“Head coach Kevin Stefanski, who was vaccinated and boosted, tested positive and quarantined himself immediately. He’s doing well and will continue to serve as head coach practically as we prepare for the Raiders on Saturday.
