Cricket Australia has announced T20I and ODI matches against the England men’s and women’s teams as part of a packed 2022-23 summer schedule.
England’s men will travel to take on the reigning T20 champions in an opening clash at The Gabba in Brisbane on October 9, before the teams meet at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on October 12-14 before defending the World Cup in Australia from October 16 to November 13. .
Matthew Mott’s ODI team then kicks off a three-match series in Adelaide on November 17, followed by games in Sydney on November 19 and Melbourne on November 22.
Meanwhile, the Australian Women’s T20 World Cup winners compete against Australia, Pakistan and Ireland in Derry from July 16-23 as part of the Women’s Commonwealth Bank T20I Tri-Series, after which Birmingham waits while the Games of Commonwealth 2022 will take place from July 29 to August 7
