France representative LDLC Asvel Feminin came to Mersin to play against Çukurova Basketball Club (ÇBK) Yenişehir Municipality this evening in the quarter-finals of the FIBA Women’s European Cup (EuroCup Women). The French team completed their preparations under the supervision of Head Coach Pierre Vincent.
Head coach Vincent, who made a statement before the match, said, “There are no missing players in the team. We have to play better than the first match. All we have to do is wait and see this result.”
Noting that they are hopeful for the tour, actress Julie Allemand said, “Of course we are sad that we lost with 13 points in the first game. We know this will be a difficult match. We will see a full capacity hall here tomorrow. It will be a tough match for us, a win or lose match. We are aware of the importance of this, but I hope we will return from here by skipping a tour,” he said.
Actor Marine Johannes said:
“Tomorrow will be a difficult and important match. It will be difficult, but we will do our best to win.”
The second match of the tour will be played today at 19.00 at Servet Tazegül Sports Hall. Sports fans will be able to follow the match for free.
