WHO IS CAN KORKMAZ?
Can Korkmaz, who was born on October 21, 1992, is 1.87 meters tall and plays as a playmaker. Can Korkmaz, who started his professional career in Pertevniyal, fought for Daçka in the 2011-2012 season in TB2L (Today’s TBL). Transferred to Galatasaray in the 2012-2013 season, Korkmaz won the Basketball Super League championship there. Then, playing for Trabzonspor, Muratbey Uşak and Galatasaray again, Korkmaz played for Sakarya Metropolitan, which was coached by our Head Coach Selçuk Ernak in the 2017-2018 season. Later transferred to Galatasaray for the third time, Korkmaz played in Türk Telekom in the 2020-2021 season. Playing for Pınar Karşıyaka last season, the successful guard averaged 5.44 points, 1.09 rebounds and 2.25 assists in 32 games in the ING Basketball Super League with the green-red team. Korkmaz played in 8 games in the FIBA Basketball Champions League, averaging 5.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
