Who is Dusan Ristic?
He was born on November 27, 1995 in Novi Sad, Serbia. Dušan Ristić, who started playing basketball in the FMP Zeleznik Beograd infrastructure in the 2009-2010 season, joined the Red Star, one of the important clubs of his country and Europe, in the 2010-2011 season, and found himself in the A team squad in the 2013-2014 season.
In the 2014-2015 season, he transferred to the University of Arizona, where he will continue his education and basketball career together. In his last year here, in the 2017-2018 season, he averaged 12 points and 6.9 rebounds, and played with 40% three-pointers, 86% free throws and 57.4% on-court percentages.
After his school years, he returned to his country and his former team, Red Star, and had the chance to play in 45 games.
In the 2019-2020 season, he was transferred to Kazakhstan’s Astana team. At the beginning of the 2021-2022 season, he transferred to Spain’s Urbas Fuenlabrada team, which was his last stop before joining Galatasaray Nef. In his first season here, he averaged 10 points and 4.7 rebounds in 34 Liga Endesa games. In the current part of the 2022-2023 season, Dušan Ristić, who is experiencing one of the best periods of his career, scored 15.7 points and 6.7 rebounds, while 69.6% two points and 36.8% three points on the field.
